Crossword Harbor — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Crossword Harbor ("the game") is a word puzzle game for web browsers and Android. This page explains what data the game uses and why. The game does not ask for or store your email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.

Data kept on your device

Your progress (coins, levels, rank, settings and similar game data) is saved on your device or, on game portals, in your portal account. It stays there unless you clear the game's data.

Data sent to our game server

To run leaderboards and online duels, the game sends the following to our server (hosted by Cloudflare):

Other players can see your display name, scores and reactions. Daily Crossword entries are deleted after 30 days, season and weekly boards are kept for a limited number of seasons, and duels are kept to show your duel history.

Advertising

The game is free and shows ads. On game portals (such as CrazyGames) the portal shows the ads under its own privacy policy. In the Android app, ads are provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address and ad interaction data to show and measure ads, and, where you agree, to personalise them. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings → Privacy options. See Google's policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Children

The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
